Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a pass guarantee?
Not at launch. We think a pass guarantee is only meaningful when there's data behind it, that's why we're conducting an ongoing pilot research program, which will help us understand outcomes over time.
How many questions are there?
Our proprietary PRITE study question bank contains 3,970 questions.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you will have access to the content until the end of the subscription period you paid for.
How long will it take to complete all the questions?
We recommend doing 30 questions per day. At that pace, you'll finish all 3,970 questions in 132 days, or about 4.5 months.
Is this a recurring subscription?
Yes, it will auto-renew at the end of your subscription period. You can cancel at any time.
How is this different from BoardVitals or Rosh Review?
Our question count is the first difference: We have 3,970 vs. around 1,650 for both. Our annotation depth also sets us apart. MindVault builds each question with individual explanations for every distractor, five to six key learning points, a mnemonic, and a clinical pearl.
Is this just recycled USMLE content?
No, every question was written from scratch for psychiatry, not adapted from a general medicine bank. Content is anchored to DSM-5-TR, the PRITE content blueprint, and the ABPN certification exam outline.
Why not just use Anki?
Anki is excellent for memorization. MindVault tests clinical reasoning under exam conditions: reading a vignette, holding five competing answers in working memory, and choosing the most defensible one in a timed format. They're complementary.
I'm a PGY-1. Is it too early?
No. The PRITE tests cumulative clinical knowledge. Starting in PGY-1 and doing consistent low-volume review produces better outcomes than cramming in PGY-3 September.
Why can't I subscribe if I am a resident at OU, OU-Tulsa, OU-HSC, or OKDMHS?
MindVault is currently conducting a research study on the efficacy of this question bank. In order to maintain the integrity of the study, we are only offering subscriptions to individuals who are NOT residents at, nor affiliated with, Oklahoma University (OU), OU-Tulsa, OU Health Science Center (OUHSC), or Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Services (OKDMHS). We appreciate your understanding and hope to be able to offer subscriptions to you in the future.
Who can I contact with any questions?
