“I looked for a psychiatry question bank built the way residents actually need to learn...and found nothing. So I built it.

I spent seven years as a nurse before medical school. I know what evidence-based practice looks like at the bedside, and I know how to study under pressure. When I became a psychiatry resident, I assumed board prep resources would reflect that same rigor.

They didn't. Existing question banks recycle USMLE content with a psychiatry label. Textbooks are passive. Nothing was built specifically for the way the PRITE is written and the way residents learn. When I hit a 99th percentile score in one subsection of my PRITE, it wasn't because of the resources available to me, it was despite them.

So I built what should have already existed. Every question in MindVault was written from scratch, anchored to DSM-5-TR and the PRITE content blueprint, and structured with the full suite of learning tools that actually move the needle: detailed explanations that walk through every distractor, key learning points distilled to headline facts, mnemonics for the high-yield concepts, clinical pearls, and canonical references.
